Perks of streaming service, you don't need to be subbed to all of them all the time

Funny how it works, something seems to be taking over and then it ends up oversaturated

You can sub to netflix for one month, then stop and use something else

I knew this would happen from like 2015
IMG_20190512_154445.jpg

Even then Otti, it's still infinitely more expensive to do that than just pay a base £15 a month with basic TV

In the uk basic TV would include all of this

I actually pay less because my mother is a good haggler

Right, but soon basic tv won't have any of this

Shows are going to be exclusive to the streaming platforms

Especially the ones made for them

These streaming services don't have broadcast rights

Even the ones specifically made, voltron airs on TV in the UK, runaways airs on tv too, probably more

Eventually the market will be so fragmented, I can easily see Netflix selling off its ips for broadcasting rights

Of course the streaming services will still retain streaming rights

I love how youtube is on there btw

YouTube Red laughsinnomura

laughsinnomura laughsinnomura

Imagine paying for that

Imagine paying for disney plus

My point is still this, so many streaming services doesn't mean you have to sub to all of them. Pay for the one that interests you that month then change it the next

Of course, I get that, but in the long run it's still more expensive

And with a lot less content too

Disney plus might have good stuff if you're into that, I just don't see what on earth is enticing about YouTube premium stuff lol

For the average person, it's not gonna be something they'll constantly be doing

Only if you're very money conscious

Which is a good thing Ofc!

Youtube has like, two or three TV shows now?

A karate kid sequel

laughsinnomura

There's also another thing, it's not a huge deal but

People don't like making loads of accounts, even to free things

It's happening with PC gaming rn, with all the different platforms outside steam

Mmm, that's why Netflix was so popular

Sure they're free to use, but it's annoying people

Yo, Cobra Kai is much better than it deserves to be

Seriously?

It sounds kinda shit ?

Maybe I should watch it, I liked the original films

The show is from Johnny's perspective

sorasunglasses

I'll check it out

But you know, don't be surprised when streaming services eventually collapse

Only disney could possibly survive the fallout
