i mean they don't need to be massive! it would be awesome, but windwaker pulled this off on the gamecube.. lol

they could make it feel substantial, without really making each island like this HUGE EXPLORABLE WORLD

even better would be like... if you could create your own character and choose your own devilfruit, and you are recruited to the straw hats!

like you can play your own unique character. but still be with all the loved characters

like the fact we still don't have a semi open world naruto game baffles me

I remember playing it as a kid

there was one on gamecube. think it was rise of the ninja

which i thought was a great start

but i wanted to be able to go to the different villages

maybe choose which village you were from

Ultimate Ninja storm 1 had an open hidden leaf village

etc

Like, you could go around and explore

yea but that was a very meh version

But for some reason, they ditched that completely in the next games

i figured in ninja storm 2 it would be like even more progressed

but yep they scrapped something that could have been awesome
