Because you won't buy it

But ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away

Look, I'm not dumb, I also know what they do it this way

But it doesn't mean, it's acceptable as a consumer

I'm just here for the drama at this point 🍿

Isn't it twice?

I missed the second one?

Times fly

They could always let you install them separately, would take a lot more work to do sure, but it’s not unreasonable

Btw
If you're asking me for my personal opinion

I'd rather they didn't do cross gen development cause usually it's firetrucked up in some way
But given they did, they had to release the game at some point due to the extremely long dev cycle it had

Stakeholders were clearly getting mad so CD Red had to pick the lesser of two evils here

Otherwise the game would have never come out

So logistics, you send out the Gold copy (or rather their horrid definition of Gold) and then patch stuff in

See No Man's Sky Launch vs Now

Now back to KH

Sure bring a hard version of it to switch

And then have it be patched for years to come to compress and optimize the ever living firetruck out of it

Then don't release it at all

So you don't burn your switch on handheld and you maintain processing and space

But then square has to dump tons of money and devs to that

Which no

But you can't do that either

I mean, if your only solution is cloud with 10 FPS, don't release at all

Why? Gamers were doing fine without Switch versions for years

Rule number one: don't listen to consumers

Therefore, at the end, you take the risk of doing cloud based computing so you take a game you know that runs well on hardware that you know works and then allow players to play it then
