I honestly only disliked him because he never took the time to think anything through. Went with his gut impulse every time, and look at how that turned out. Aqua always had to rush in to clean up his mess.

I don’t even remember how I started liking Vanitas.

My list of favorite characters was Axel/Riku/Sora/Aqua/Demyx in that order, and then it became Vanitas/Vanitas/Vanitas

Axel is still high up on the list because he’s my older brother’s favorite, but he’s in 4th place I think.
