This. Restraint is the most important quality you can have as a creative. Quality over quantity is what you want. Try to narrow your focus and get one or two ideas to be as good as they can possibly be.

It's not that we want more quantity, we know that

Wyn does, unintentionally, bring up a larger point- all art or creations are self indulgent at their core.

It's all in moderation

We already went through story building ideas with those arcs and are straight forward with them already

We making something a bit more new then we previously already agreed on

Though there are some plot holes, but we can fix them a bit later since our current plothole makes our brains hurt

I’m not sure that art is inherently self indulgent, as the purpose of art is communication

Communication, by default, requires two parties to function

And we got months upon months worth of notes and important plot points for this thing we’re building.

We actually have a several important things we have pinned and plan on putting the “summary” plots in a google doc so we don’t lose sight of shit,

I’m already working on a lose timeline for the basics and we’re filling in the holes from there.

Actually, while designing their outfits, Inari and I regularly exchange screenshots and notes so that way the designs are cohesive with each other, while also trying to look “canon”.

The AU itself turns 4 months old in September.

It's hard to design.

Especially if our competitor is Nomura.

And plaid.

We have to ascend to the fifth dimension to figure out where to place plaid on Naminé and Repliku, and, while it looks fine, I’m still not totally happy with it.

If I had to explain how Naminé is in our AU, this song perfectly reflects it
