Re:coded is a good game, the fanbase just runs a smear campaign against it

I think one of the major issues is that it feels like a rehash of the first game and CoM w/ not much added to the story until the last world as Data Sora.

Though actually I think it's Days

Days has very repetitive gameplay which is a huge deal breaker for some, but the panel system is not bad

Also, the story is pretty great and fleshed out the world of KH nicely. It's literally a side story

Equipping beforehand is definitely strategizing what to bring to the fight before diving in.

Also the mission briefs are literally briefs, you can get by with them really well

They literally are cheat sheets

It's a bit more rpgish in that respect, but it does also use command menu

It's like when Halo 4 went to use loadout and ordnance instead of weapons scattered on the field

And there were bonus missions, but you could get by fine on the bare minimum.

Then again Nova, it's a bit difficult to make Command menu work completely scot free on a DS. I think it's an acceptable tradeoff
