There's little atmospheric touches on the PS2 version of KH1 that they didn't carry over to the Remixes that I really liked

you mean like being unable to skip cutscenes, or having to do all interactions with the 4th command, or being unable to use right stick for the camera?

Having just recently beaten it the other night honestly the camera for kh one PS2 is perfectly fine you don't need the right stick. The L and R work very well for the game as his

I think they meant the PS2 version's atmosphere (style) inside the game and not the controls or programming.

How different are they? I haven't played the PS2 version in years. I think the main difference is Sora's character models being skinnier in the PS2 game than the models used in the remixes.

some of the music and sound effect cues were better timed and implemented- its little stuff but for example, in End of The World, any time S D or G attacked, their voice echoed everywhere in the world; doesn't in the remixes. I also wildly prefer the OG heartless designs.

Similar with the Heartless colors.

this is basically a remake bc they lost the og source code. its already impressive it came out this good
