First of all can we appreciate the balls of Nomura to use a sequel to a still unproven franchise and instead of diving straight into a continuation, took the time to construct a layered tutorial with a fully 3D cast filled with even unnamed NPCs that still are used in a consistent manner relevant to the player (the struggle announcer proclaiming Roxas is his number one customer in a voiced cutscene, calling back to an optional text cutscene). Even small things like showing them stepping on and off the train, seeing Roxas goofing off in the background while Pence is trying to seriously tell him about their summer homework project. It's these small details that are great.

Also isn't it great how Kairi's and Selphie's facial expressions and movements change even when the camera's focus isn't on them, like their eyes move around etc.

I especially like how everytime Sora goes to Ansem's study he's always travelling with a different entourage of FF characters: 1st time: Leon, 2nd: Leon and Aerith, 3rd: Aerith and Yuffie. It's neat and not a grouping you'd naturally think of.

Also isn't it super cool how Selphie's school bag is a typically girly one with a moogle keychain on it and Kairi's is a plain brown satchel

No, you dreamt it

Also, and I can't stress this enough, the whole "characters in odd groupings" is KH2s biggest strength to me

Kairi, Hayner, Pence and Olette in the same room? how weird and GREAT. Too bad we didn't hear any dialogue, but it facilitates something great for the imagination

Another odd grouping is Belle interacting with Xaldin, it's poggerino

:nanithefiretruck:

oh otti

what do you think of that emote

It's kinda hard to see what it means

Like it just looks like Sora has an odd smile

I thought it looks like a "the firetruck" face

Maybe it looks better on the phone

That's a huge possibility

Maybe my eyes suck

you do wear glasses

:tifashrug:

I do, but I might need a new check soon

xD I was joking

I'm sure your eyes are fine

Oh no, that's a whole other mess

I think he is

Maybe the fight itself isn't canon but I do think he was present back then since he was jumping forward in time

Well, I think it's very straightforward when you understand that it can only happen chronologically

It's supposedly canon by having the fight take place after Land of Departure's fall

So after Eraqus died and before they all went to Keyblade Graveyard

So he starts traveling after Ansem SoD visits him, then he appears in BBS for some reason, then he's in Coded's secret ending which is when he and Xigbar begin the Real Org 13 plan, then comes 3D, he goes back to his time, and then somehow he goes back to the present straight to KH3

Oh, you meant that timeline

I mean, I assume that's what Walrus meant

Could be wrong

Wouldn't be first time

Nor the 16474474688th

seasalty

Is this the HMK thing

Dudes on a high horse again
