For all the crap bosses it has, KH1 has some special ones

Yeah it might not have a lot of fun humanoid bosses and a cool cinematic THX final boss, but for what bosses it has, it does very well

Ansem solo is pretty decent too

And the way the first fight with him is like a warm up to that one

Same thing happens with Riku

and hey, for not being able to skip cutscenes
i just love how it's a jab at the gamer saying : "you cant win this fight? now suffer the cutscenes and get good"

I mean again, with what KH2FM offers, KH1 makes up in story, base game, and simplicity

while KH2FM mainly offers postgame and humanoid bosses

you cant say much about music cause both games hit the nail on that one

and both games had emotions to the brim in their respective cutscenes

True, music is top notch. It tends to come down to preference even more

KH1 has more of the dark choir stuff. KH2 has more violins

Like, the start of Kh1 final fight with Ansem on the beach is bloody amazing
but the ending of KH2 with Darkness of the Unknown is just blissful

Kh1 ending makes you cry tears of sadness as Sora and Kairi separate
Kh2 ending makes you cry tears of happiness as Sora and Kairi are reunited
Both are just so great in their own ways and to go witch hunt people for one or the other just hurts me

cause it's never what KH ever was about or taught us
