i mean being not trapped by marluxia prob helps

She's a lot more melancholic in practically every other game, and she has a right to be

It was pretty stark playing ReCoM and then 2 and seeing the personality shift

Yeah, but she's not trapped by him in Days and she's still really demure etc

And not as confident

Well that's like a good 70% of her appearance in KH2

Going from super shy and not confident and then being way more direct and confident in 2

She isn't like that in Days which is much closer to KH2

And she's definitely not like that in KH3

And I'm pretty sure it's because Nomura wasn't involved with CoM

The original I mean

Not really with wiritng

KH2 and CoM were made simultaneously

huh that's interesting

so the only 2 games he didn't write for were days and com?

oh wait i think recoded too

He had to ask the COM writer to explain org 13 personalities to him

Yeah

Kanemaki

And the writer for CoM wrote every KH game except KH1/DDD/3

So that's probably why Namine is in line with that

But it's interesting, like, how do you reconcile the two interpretations of her character
