as probably most of you know the eight generation of pokemon has been announced as pokemon sword and pokemon shield due out switch later this year, set in the galar region speculated to based on britain in some form 

starter pokemon are, grooky the grass type, scorbunny the fire type and sooble the water type

yeah, from what i recall them saying during e3 its cause theyve finally reached the point where programming and animating every pokemon and all their forms is just too much for them

Huh, interesting. You'd think with the revenue the franchise has and all the success it's had that they'd have slightly bigger teams working on those precise specifications. But hey, I don't know how game development works, so there's probably more to it than that.

Good lord, I'm loving the designs of these new Pokemon! They look absolutely wonderful!

Idk. Seems improbable for me to have that in the first version. In the end it's still possible that the wolves are just symbols and have nothing to do with any actual pokemon.

If you ever get a chance, I recommend picking up Pokemon Emerald.  I think you can revisit Johto in that game.

It looks like an evolution of Slurpuff.

I'm super excited for the Pokemon in this game! Hopefully all the new designs are as adorable and badass as the one's shown so far!

you get a johto starter for completing the hoenn dex and theres a post game safari zone expansion with plenty of johto pokemon in it but not johto itself
