But the concepts and the struggle of Assassin and templar is still focused on

Like, Odyssey came up with the idea of make your own choices......which can't work in this series at all

The whole foundation of the series is built upon the fact that you revisit your ancestors memories

If they wanted a female character, just make one

And Kassandra is, I think, the "canon" choice of Odssessy

Attaching another one just for "option" is dumb in game like this

Why you gotta ruin what always wanted

Because Syndicates idea is that you play as brother and sisters with different storylines

Odyssey on the other hand are brother and sisters with the same storyline

It's just AC was one of my favorite series ever

I think in the lore they explain why they can do this now too, even

make "choices" and whatnot

Dishonoured 2 also had a choice. And Emily is the canon one, but Corvo is there for a different gameplay (he has DS1 abilities) which increases replayabilty

Because she's on most promotional material

Er.. excuse you, Kassandra isn't forgettable

Her dialogue is great and her remarks are excellent

I would rather play as one fully fleshed out female character then one forgettable but choose one character instead

I suppose its unknown if just having her would have meant she was more fleshed out though

The two characers actually have some very unique characterizations and dialogues that they can spew out

Could have turned out the same

So they're both equal characters in their own right
