Cuz I can't figure out why the Sigil scene with the days trio is a retcon

Is it?

Didn't happen in the base game so they added a scene

Technically it's retcon

But it's not a bad one

The sigil has always been there for each of them

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding what a retcon is. My undestanding is that a retcon is when a rule of something is overwritten with something else

Then it does fall into the retcon category but the X thing was established in DDD so it more or less affected that trio too

But the x thing didn’t really have a purpose until ddd

And Xehanort gave a the real origin of the X with his talk about the X blade

I had that yozora glitch happen but as soon as you heal it stops working

I found it more satisfying than the default scene. It gave it more meaning. And an awesome scene with Roxas.

And I wouldn’t say Retcon. But Rather a Rewrite.

Sora’s traveling through time. So he rewrote that part of the Keyblade Graveyard.

Sora didn't rewrite in Remind

I'm confused because everywhere i go to has wildly different takes on this sigil scene

He was visiting the past and seeing the events happen

He only affected the stuff after kairi died

Before that it was exactly the same

Basically the stuff in the base game happened and the Remind stuff happen behind the scenes. You don't see it in the base game but it's still there. Then in Remind you visit it and see those events transpire

basically it's a timeloop

Remember Sora and Kairi we’re knocked unconscious during the scene

So the 3 were the only ones there to do this

Re:mind simply added a scene, there’s no real retcon just an additional scenario

As soon as you see him move press the button

Really I thought it gave enough time to react

If it says too fast you did it too early
