7 remake is midgar but expanded into a full game

I'm 35 hours and 50 minutes in and I reached the Shinra building so it's pretty decently length

In a weird way I hope that ff7r2 comes out as DLC for ff7r

It feels weird to have what was once one game into a different game

Like to have sector 5 on one disc but then wherever else on a different one

You can get digital too if you want I guess

Tbh I would rather this game cut a little on some filler, and some stuff does feel like padding

oh idk to me it felt like a sort of odyssey

like you go from one area with all this stuff going on to a different one with different stuff going on

I liked the ghost chapter, it did kinda feel weird and disconnected, but I liked it

What I'm doing is after I beat a chapter I go read the megathread on the Reddit for that chapter to compare
