In the kh sub they don't really care for criticism when someone talks about it while on the FF sub they aren't even talking about criticism but just completely hating the remake for stuff here and there.

That's not to say there aren't proper discussions but it's hard to find some good ones in them

like let's say that u had really great 4 first course at a restaurant, the desert was questionable not your cup of tea but definitely original, are you gonna say oh this restaurant is garbage?

 

The hate

The super"fan" mentality is understandable

Cause kh3 was always split but the FF one is a bit on the hate side

They feel threatened that SE might stop making games if there is too much "hate"

Sales says otherwise

Also critically, the games a hit

I think critically I would have liked it to be the "God of War" of FF

Square aren't gonna stop making games

But i do prefer FFVII r

If anything it's more and more annoying at best that they can't make just one controversy free game

Otherwise I'm not too bothered by the game at all

I'm just very let down by square enix as a company for not doing the safe thing just once

But the voice actors is a very huge sore spot for me

Felt better than most se rpg games so far

Well for one the total lack of transparency over the decision to fire old actors that have been loyal for over 15 years

The actual quality of the VA is fine, great even

They even did it to Hayden panettiere

Yeah but in God of Wars case it was a soft reboot. It's sequel taking place in another realm but keeping Kratos and his history but you wouldn't need to know anything prior as the game explains the necessary stuff it needs to.
