I think a better ending would have been an interactive nibelheim incident flashback

Kitase mentioned that in a interview already

I want them to save the flashback for the next one, and I am glad they did. that feels like it something they should really dive into.

Yeah I skimmed through it

Well they have built up to the flashback through the game

They gave us a tease with Tifa and her reaction, now in the next one they can do more.

And instead of something out of nowhere like fighting in space, which while insanely cool doesn't make a lot of sense, something more grounded would have been a good end imo

And nibelheim is super gruesome, it would have really left an impression of what sephiroth can be like
