I really liked it as a whole

Like even the graveyard thing I thought it was good

I think the whole thing with

sephiroth

was a little confusing

But not so much in like a idk what's going on way, but more of a slower development sort of thing

like he's not on screen all the time so theyre kinda just slow-roasting his character to cook it

But generally it seemed pretty concise and good

Like it felt like a part of a world

Yeah see, I don't think it would be that confusing. I do think some of the impact wouldn't have been there, but they still set up

here from Aerith and Cloud's interactions back in chapter 9. Not to say it would be an instant lightbulb moment, but I don't think this will just be for old fans

i think the game is good and fun to play

For the most part

but there's a lot here that I don't think is for veterans or newcomers

it's a very weird niche

I always thought the game was made for fans of the compilation

I think it's like watching an anime adaption of a manga and the anime people add some future stuff early on that only manga people will catch but it's still a story that makes sense

That's how I see FF7R so far

i love the ending

solely because i know crisis core and enjoyed that game a lot

if i didn't, i have no idea if it would impact me at all

honeslty rn im one of those that can see issues but love the game

i like the direction there going

casue legit ANYTHING can happen now

even events for advent children or hell we might see kadaj in this remake

i am certainly excited for part 2

the only thing that felt weird throughout the game was

Zack

More just cause he kinda got alluded to but not really then in flashbacks

I feel like what would've fixed that problem entirely though for me was if in the scene where Aerith was all like "Just like the only person I ever loved!" and Cloud asked his name, if Aerith said

"Zack" even "Za-

" or anything

and then had his full name in the flashbacks later on
