That makes sense, but showing the ending scene for crisis core literally shot by shot just ruins impact drastically. At least it would have for me because that scene is powerful

CC was a bit big, but that's in the FF community more so

If I didn't know that scene

I wouldn't have cared i don't think

It's hard to really state my thoughts on it all

I think ultimately like the end of ff7r wouldn't have much of an impact

But overall I'm pretty dissatisfied

it's not the end of ff7

it's just the end of an arc

you might feel a twinge but it's not really like the culmination of events

what they show has no meaning to someone who doesn't know, when they discover everything that led to it and the follow up they will feel something

It's a sequel hook

They showed a new mysterious character for new players

Unfortunately, just wish I played the original before this. That's kinda my fault

While playing those last bosses

And they were showing the visions

I mean, worst case scenario, you can go through the og now and see if it changes your mind in any way.

Instead of intrigue, I just felt annoyed

I think it's better to see the real event for the first time after seeing the flashes

Because I felt like I should've seen these scenes in other games before. That aeirth scenery is the only reason I know the visions are even from past games
