I mean, I enjoyed 15 more than most people but come on here. 15 was a huge mess storywise, with a bunch of stuff missing in it from story to characters. 7R on the other hand has a story that's simple enough from beginning to end except the last hour.

That's how I feel about 7R though. Like it's not quite as bad as 15 character wise at all

But what it does wrong for me is far far worse than 15

Like 15 for me was just a continous stream of mediocrity

ff7r is to me overall an upgrade, but only because the original was so shitty

7R was decent for a good while with drops of quality in between while the last 5 hours or so made me feel far worse than the entirety of 15
