but the Shinra building was pretty straight forward

You went in there to rescue Aerith from a mad scientist

And then ended up on the roof with the president dangling from a building and then dying to after that everyone escaping

But then there were the flashes of visions from cloud and Hojo saying shit I didn't understand

The dialogue from rufus didn't make much sense to me either

Right, but the only Hojo said was that cloud wasn't a Soldier. It's a thing that makes sense for old fans, sure, but it also sets up an intrigue for new players as to what that meant

And in terms of quality, chapter 15 was great, but everything afterwards in the building was not great

by the way Hojo was in the Remake better because if I remember correctly he was mostly a coward in the original, when Cloud tried to save Aerith
