though i felt like 15 had a good swap character system

I at least want a Attack or Defend option for the characters you aren't controlling

Would be so useful

15 character swap was okay I do admit it takes a little bit long to swap to a different character 7 remake making that much quicker and on launch day a lot better

too bad it took 2 years to get it

Ah i played alpha 15 before it had character swap

So i can't say

barret is prompto 2.0

in terms of combat

Tifa is still the most fun to play with

prompto is OP when you play as him in 15

his guns do massive damage

Character swapping clearly wasn't balanced or intended to be in the main game

yeah it definitley wasnt

I'm glad they added it though even though it took a while

15 was a noble attempt to fix what was missing, but there was just too much they tried to add

I mean given everything that came out after the game launched they're all been basically continued for like a couple years after release

The release version really was a beta

if it wasnt for square cancelling the later dlcs the game would still be getting content

think about that

At the same time that I'm glad that didn't get new content like It have to end at some point please just let it die this isnt a mmo

Like after he left, the DLCs never happened

they were actually announced at the same time

Remember tabata was talking about setting up official Square Enix LARPing sessions for 15 and had much more planeed

both his resignation and the dlc cancellation

Yeah I think Tabata was the only thing keeping them afloat

I think he got fed up and just quit

He has made his own studio now making a game but who knows when that's coming out
