Glad to see you enjoyed it! Who did you get in chapter 14 when going outside the house at night with Cloud?

Personally, I'm very even on it. To me, it depends on what future games will do. Right now I'm not especially hopeful or worried, just cautious

eh, i wouldn't necessarily call it lazy

it's way too overdone yeah, but wedge does have some semblance of character depth beyond that

he probably wouldn't annoy me as much if they just removed that trait because it's not funny at all. Doesn't really add anything

if they made him a skinny guy that likes to eat would it be as annoying?

hmm you know

that's a good question

i'd probably find it annoying still, but can't really say for certain

like if they used the '' hey Im super buff and I need 10 000 calories a day to keep my muscles''

ah lol, that trope

uh, hmm. I probably wouldn't find it as annoying no. At least then the eating trait would serve some purpose other than him just liking eating

the only real depth I can see about his love of eating is that it's something he fights for and looks forward to

like with Jessie's mom's pizzas.

But they rarely go into it, and it's just kinda there for a gag

i just found it pretty unnecessary with how nothing it is

i guess if you find it funny, it isn't really nothing though

but JEssie being thirsty could be just as unnecessary? (I like that a lot, but Im a sucker for that kinda stuff)

its not really funny as Im like eh

this man likes his food

it's not funny to me either

i think they were just trying to give them clear cut characters because they didn't really have any in the original

and they tried a little too hard to

or rather i think "well no wonder hes fat"

but wedge in the original was the "round" character

so i guess they wanted to put emphasis on that ?

like it doesn't ruin the character or anything to me, it's just kinda there and doesn't really enhance the experience at all

i guess idk, wasn't there a line from jessie in the original flirting with cloud

or something akin to that

she found him cute

I recall a line like that

and they developped it from there

Biggs IMO has low key one of the best moments when hes on the tower and talking to Cloud

like it felt that not just Aerith but him too could feel like there was sth in CLoud that's "broken"

but they don't shove it in your face

it was pretty good

something i wasn't a huge fan of was jessie's death. She doesn't mention her parents right?

i don't think she does

in the grand scheme of things, I consider that filler emotions

i guess the point was that cloud seeing her home and father was to illicit some pity for her, but she never really discussed her parents before and you didn't really know her

so it felt kinda meh

Biggs was like "WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS"

like 80% of her dialogue at most was just flirting

which, the flirting isn't bad but it was way too overdone

in JP she sounds like a gag character

she flirts but then does a "NANCHATTE"
