He's clearly putting across 2 or 3 points, regardless of whether you agree with them or not, in a "humourous" manner. Just because it's said in a debatably funny way doesn't mean the point is less valid

One thing tho is that he didn't need to take stuff from the game out of context to highlight poor pacing, I don't like when people do that. I guess the joke landed though so
