Yeah the Turks as well I'm also a bit conflicted on. Tseng needed a lot more screen time I feel. Didn't care for him at all

I kinda liked the flashback. Seeing young aerith talk and shit was good for understanding her a bit more. Big issue I have with everyone else minus barret

Yeah it did help to expand Aerith as a character.

Idk I dont like Barret as a character. I just find him kind of dragging the team down a lot. He complains a lot. His views are fine in what they want but he is way too extreme. Its good that the original gave him a daughter cause she at least humanists him to a degree. If it were me I still wouldn't give a shit. They ain't pulling a, but he has a daughter crap with me.

Just replace him with Aerith when the time comes, cause I actually care about Aerith this time.

aerith i'm on the fence of fully caring about, but overall, this is a vast improvement from how i felt about the cast in the original from what i played
