Nah, it's more to just make a certain something again. Whether it's following the exact same stuff or not.

Does the game have a lot of pre-rendered cutscenes?

It has quite a few

They just added more stuff to it

Lion king live action is an example

You still have Avalanche being blamed for everything, them going out to rescue Aerith, the Corneo stuff and so on

But they added more stuff in between them

Like the Leslie character who wanted to kill Corneo for taking and dumping his fiancee
