the only use haste has is in speedruns if you want to cycle bosses in a certain way
my goat in FF10 was an unmentionabIe in 9 😭
haste got fixed in later games though
so it works well with ATB. 9 just was shitty at it lol
it's why I think that FFXIII trilogy, XII and X-2 are the superior option if you care about turn-based ATB
I would never play the ps1 games for gameplay
New trilogy if that statement is anything to go by
sheesh, just how many games are they gonna cram into that timeframe? iirc the prime trilogy was set after some of the original metroid games and before games like fusion and dread
