If larian withdraws then sure that would be good but their stance is firm as of right now so they deserve whatever flame they’re getting

I think it does because people complaining about it in the future will make them look like hypocrits and morons because no one cared about gen AI when the game launched. using gen AI for smaller scales like this doesn't affect people's enjoyment of the game. E33 proved that
