I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

Ugh yeah, feels bad on that
Theres some applicability to it imo
Like yeah blaming the gamers IS bad but, I feel a lot of people did come into it bad faith
But also you probably just shouldn't say that lmao
Not to spoil anything, but there's a lot more struggle coming up. Hopefully the animation is up to par for it
I didn't think the animation was all that bad, but I also won't deny there were definitely some issues. Though I still don't really understand the sliding issue (how's the guy supposed to look as he casually slides down a hill? Is he supposed to have action lines or something?)

I'm still not sure how to feel about Marathon, looking at the trailers it looks super cool, but while I don't have issues with the gameplay loop, I keep hearing about backstage drama with the folks in charge not implementing changes or critiques
Plus I know it's connected to their old games but, idk if it's gonna have as much to sink the teeth into story wise at least compared to Destiny
I'm not sure what changes or critiques you're referring to but as far as I'm aware, but a lot of the criticism that was received, at least during the alpha state was implemented, like solo queue, proximity chat, and a scavenger mode/class. There could be more that I'm not aware of or that wasn't implemented but I'm not sure what it could be in reference to
I was kicking it on TV Tropes and it made note that the higher ups rejected feedback by the own team and people who played the beat
beta
Even had a link to ex Bungie dudes talking about it- could all be heresay but still
Ahhhh I think I vaguely know what you're talking about
I know that Destiny has some issues with that at a certain point but idk how accurate it is now
There will always be backstage drama. Fun Fact: During World of Warcraft Legion Alpha which was over 10 years ago we had an insanely heated argument with WoW Developers that ended up in insulting each other and making passive-aggressive tweets on developer accounts and player accounts that referred to threads in the alpha forums which weren't accessible for the public.
And everyone was wondering what happened
We pissed one of the devs so off that he quit the WoW team for hearthstone
Holy shit lol
During that time Brewmaster monk which is a tank had a mechanic where his entire selfheal appeared in form of health packs that spawn randomly in the area. Means to use your selfheal you had to collect them which caused various issues in gameplay. For example it caused things like brewmaster monks killing other players with frontal cleave mechanics of bosses just because they wanted to heal themselves and the dev who was responsible for that mechanic became insanely arrogant and told players that they were wrong, when it was from a game design perspective a terrible mechanic
in the end players won the argument and they added another spell that consumes all the health packs in the area and heals you
and then he did his ragequit lol
this is also a classic
