FF games have quadruple of the content
ofc it takes longer for one to release than a Resident Evil game
sure, Ionger than 1 but Ionger than 3? (I forgot about RE9)
tbf
FFXVI was developed on a new engine
and also covid
NO.
covid sure fine whatever but the new engine part is just so dumb
how many times do you have to be taught this Iesson
XVI didn't use luminous or UE4
didn't use an enhanced version of 14's engine?
since it's the 14 team that worked on it I can't imagine they had troubIe
"enhanced"
more like
completely reworked
it's a completely different engine at this point
even if it was compIeteIy reworked, if they couId do that then I cannot imagine they had troubIe with it unIess they got contractors to rework it 💀
since FFXVI CS3 can suddenly do things in the game they weren't capable of
FFXVI is ironically the best thing that happened to FFXIV
because it gave XIV a massive upgrade
there is that I suppose! the game Iooks much nicer now than it did Iike 5 years ago
impressive considering MMOs never upgrade their visuaIs past a certain year
(I know Iike 3 MMOs and they've Iooked the same for the Iast 20 years)
