The one thing I always love about the octopath games is the break system

Always so satisfying

And man how much more enjoyable octopath is when you follow one character throughout the whole thing instead of 8 different ones

Same general idea, but very different approach

someone needs to datamine resonance because I am sure that resonance stagger uses the exact same code. They just turned the way to portray it into a bar.

so people won't say that it's just an octopath copy

That wouldn't make sense

The bar went down no matter what attack you used, the effectiveness just changed depending on if it was a weakness or not.

Octopath on the other hands ticks it down by one no matter what so long as you hit the weakness
