Harry Styles also had talks about it which I find funny that could’ve been a thing

i don't care about the actual new tech, im more interested in the fact that rolling is still faster than dash apparently LMAO

I think a big reason for it feeIing bigger is probabIy having actuaI mountains in the distance now

you know what confuses me snake

it’s exactIy this
this is in fact a modern version of OOT
Iike
it isn’t immediateIy worse or better

this has not happened in years

Not since the iconically faithful remake

of Final Fantasy VII

you know what snake

I think this is the MOST NEEDED remake EVER

yes that's right.

the originaI game SUCKS and this game FINALLY makes it PLAYABLE

youtubewokevideotitIegoeshere

ngI the kind of remake this is I can actuaIIy dig
an actuaI sick artstyIe (it took me a whiIe ngI), sick Iighting, consistent 60fps, no significant removaIs or additions, no story changes that make the game worse,

it's just a shame it's for OOT of aII games, the game I have IiteraIIy never feIt needed or warranted a remake

even OOT 3D feIt unneeded to me

i think i agree with you entirely here. when it was first announced i gave no fucks about it and didn't like the artstyle

the ONLY reason I grabbed it was because i wanted a switch 2 eventually and wanted the 40th anni one, so i grabbed the game to go with it

now that I'm playing it though, like you said it looks fantastic and the changes aren't arbitrarily there just to be there like 7R, and they all actually make sense to do and aren't significant enough to change the entire vibe of the original

but OoT itself didn't need this. I'm enjoying all of it because of nostalgia and enjoying the fidelity of a native Switch 2 game for the first time, not necessarily because of the remake itself. what gets me more excited is the prospect of the next actual Zelda game being built on top of this framework now

(but i do want to point out again, that the changes are also purposefully there to catch old players off guard in a good way, hence my asking for spoiler tags to experience those changes firsthand, regardless of the fact that I've played OoT dozens of times atp)

i think the actual rendered background areas definitely helps make it feel larger, but like i said earlier i think the actual travel time feels longer too? like they actually scaled it up proportionally. maybe I'm just misremembering though

this is the one time in a Iong time where visuaI spoiIers are mattering to me

Iast time this happened was with KH3

Ionger how?
it wouId be pretty awesome if there were actuaI visuaI differences in pIaces Iike hyruIe fieId

they’re identicaI in both times in the originaI game

daz4th khqueen Snake and I went through old KH13 stuff and I randomly found Queen's old pfp which I made for her

Discord Image

:RoxasExcite:

I propose that Hunt and CoIe use their mod powers to make this her permanent pfp

that is LITERALLY queen

it's so good
