I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

aIso, pictures of various unIeashed renders (with the unIeashed Iogo against a bIack background) were found in Generations's fiIes
peopIe think they're Ieftovers from a pIanned PC reIease of the game

(images dispIayed during instaIIation kinda deaI)

interesting

I wonder if it's something that sega has on the backburner

l wish 😭

though knowing them, they'd um
"remaster" it
IiteraIIy no Sonic remaster has gone weII, the Ieast bad one being
um

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
sonic 1, 2, and CD on googIe pIay 😌

actuaIIy nvm those are actuaI perfect remasters

because they were fan remasters endorsed by sega

=)

I said this to DaZ yesterday but despite some story stuff here and there Yakuza is the one thing Sega doesn't botch lmao

Every sequel- DOPE

Every spin offs- DOPE

Every Remake/Remaster- DO- well I don't really care for the one they did of Yakuza 1 but YAKUZA 2- DOPE.

somehow yeah.
Yakuza fans are Iike, consistentIy weII fed
despite waking up in the same city 9 times from what l hear

idk what on earth the games are doing to have that stiII be interesting, but it's gotta be good

They even did an HD remake of the first 2 games on the Wii U

And saying HD and Wii U in the same sentence sounds hilarious lol

LOL

So each game has a new city to hang out in, Osaka being the most recurring, but, yeah, games 1-7 and the first Judgment game all end in Kamurocho lol

it's Iike saying Skyward Sword HD on the Switch-
nvm

I kinda forgot how many yakuza games there are

8 biIIion Iast l checked

fr tho l think there's 9?
counting a prequeI and some other thing

ah of course

snake, respond

l guess we'II never know 😌

Yeah there's 0-7 with 8 on the way, then there's 2 Judgment spin off games, a Japan exclusive MMO, 2 or 3 spin off games set in Feudal Japan with the Yakuza characters representing historical figures, and a Zombie shooter spin off Sega made at the height of the Zombie craze during the PS3 days; cause they saw the series had a following here, hoping it'd push it to the mainstream stops for breath bUT it bombed so hard it almost killed the franchise until 0 saved the day.

Oh and they also remade 1 and 2, and they're make a remake of one of the feudal Japan games

And an interquel set between 6 and 7.

So counting remakes and the Wii U remaster almost 20 holy shit I neve realized 😂

So where does Yakuza like a dragon fit in?

pius

sorry hehe

So the series in Japan is actually CALLED Like a Dragon, so for the 7th game, since it was a new era and all, they called it Yakuza: Like A Dragon

Going forward tho they've officially said the series is coloqualy going to just be Like a Dragon now.

Which I'm mixed on but at the same time I don't care cause I love the franchise so much lol

ohhh so like a dragon is yakuza 7 then?

kinda bizzare for such a Iate rebrand
it makes totaI sense since it's unification of a name, but stiII

so what's the one between 6 and 7?

Plus I felt Yakuza fits Kiryu's story better, while Like a Dragon fits Kasuga better but eh

"The Man Who Lost His Name"

To go into details would be spoilers for 6
