Look, don't even trip- Nioh is a Soulslike, but, even tho SoP is a lot like Nioh, it doesn't feel nearly as Soulslike

Like, in Nioh, like Dark Souls, and other soulslikes eventually it comes down to trying not to die in 1-2 and 1/2 hits.

SoP can be that, but, if you put the time into the gear, and making builds its super more manageable. Not all that time consuming either imo

So it's a lot more like build crafting then?

even then, for base story if you just hit optimize equipment and focus on your jobs then you'll be fine

DLC is when you gotta focus on all the equipment stuff more

it's the FF Job system cole so, you get 2 jobs to work with at a given time so it's finding what works for you for the situation

Ok, yeah I've never played an ff game with the job system so that's pretty unfamiliar to me

Like me, I go Liberator with an Axe for personal defense and break damage potential, and a Sage, mostly for Haste and cure

cries in FF's 3, 5, 12, and Tactics 😔
