The grind for 1780 is literally just do the legendary campaign and the pinnacles for week one and youre more then ready

sounds like gearing isn't that annoying then to prepare for the raid

legendary campaign gives you 1770 gear just for completing

I was burning out with gearing in WoW. It took me 25+ runs of a 30 minute dungeon just to get 1 out of 2 best in slot weapons

So far this year is the most accessible contest has ever been, which is a good thing

so AoT was a 1 hour special triple episode banger, not an actual season wtf

The point is to use every character to your advantage, which is why it wants you to change the character you play as constantly to continue making a combo

It all being tied to the ATB works wonder for it too or else you end up with a FF15 situation where you can spam whatever you want whenever you want, there's a proper gameplay balance here

If the bigger spells didn't have longer casting time then you would be extremely OP, those spells do big damage but you can work around the long casting time by using Aerith to double your spell with weaker ones or even with some materia

I don't get the negative for stagger system because you didn't really explain it

And I get your gripe with particles in FF16 because it does take a chunck of your screen but FF7R is so minimal with it, only times it goes big with it is with the limit breaks

16 is honestly not that bad if we assume that bosses work like in 14 or DMC 5. It's only an issue if particle effects or the numbers hide boss mechanics. But so far all of it is well telegraphed. For me it doesn't look flashier than 7R or KH3 tbh

It absolutely is flashier, you can't deny that

It rivals KH3 on that

You have to have some flashy otherwise it wouldn't look exciting

The difference for me is that 7R gives you time to see what is happening on screen due to the command menu pausing

for me this is worse than anything I have seen so far in XVI
