And MS claiming "it's good for the industry"

To buy act

Lol I will never understand how it's good

Their 1st party support is in shambles, and Microsoft thinks they're gonna beat Sony with endless, very public acquisitions??

What a bunch of schmucks

I'm curious how Valve and Nintendo are gonna respond to this in the next few years

I remember they said exclusives are dumb

Yet they made Starfield and anything Bethesda just that lol

Valve don't care cause it's all coming to PC

Nintendo gonna just get what ever there Givin

I knew they were bullshitting when they said that lol I'm sure you did too, but like- of course they're gonna say that, is what I mean- because their exclusives were nonexistent or sub par, and it makes them sound more "customer friendly" especially when they have Game Pass.

But the MICROsecond exclusives could turn a profit? Hell yeah they're gonna want them lmao

I'm not so sure about Valve and Nintendo- true they're their own entities but, there's noway they won't feel this some how

Where MS wants this to go is having everything on gamepass and wants nintendo and sony to have it too, but it's never gonna happen and they know there games don't sell on there platform hence why they made the subscription.

Yeah

Im sure at some point Valve is gonna do something to shut this up , they are gonna feel it inevitably

Nintendo is just gonna be whatever and do their own thing

Valve did attempt working relationships with them in the past

Let's not forget Half Life 1 came to PS2 and HL2 came to 360

Yeah it was a shitty port but they tried

And PS3 has the definitive versions of Portal 2 (not counting PC) and The Orange Box.

Honestly if Valve would give us Half Life 3, there's a good portion of gamers that could die happy and not care about what comes next for the industry lmaooo

They have the story set up from Alyx, its just about the right hardware when that comes

Its now at least possible

Rn it's just a race to get publishers and studios which ima be real I'd rather sony and ms get them rather then tencent or god forbid apple

Also amazon cause they suck

Theirs a reason why they made such a effort to have Gordon playable on VR, sure its a few seconds at best but having an entire model ready says something.

Know what this means? I said this to a buddy of mine and DaZ but, I'm more convinced of it now:

The PS5 and Series X era is a transitional era.

Like the PS3 era basically was

That. firetruckin. Sucks.

We won't see the """"""fruits""""""" of all this bullshit until basically the 2030's

firetruckin sweet, thanks guys.

MS and Sega real buddy buddy so I see them as the next target for MS

And Atlus; Micro has been real buddy-buddy with them lately.

Get ready for (another) exclusive SMT game like they tried that one time.

But Sega owns them, no?

Can they just-- leave?

I wonder if this is what all those wrestling territories felt like when Vince McMahon monopolized the industry 40 years ago..?
