it reaIIy can be one often times

every console has it's ups and downs

XBox and Playstation are graphically amazing and pretty cheap
Nintendo has a LOT of unique exclusives and the Switch is portable
PC is very customizable but also expensive

in the end every console has a balance and you choose what's best for you

I used.my PC for gaming for a while but, I ended up just using it for projects instead- had to make a choice

my first time gaming on PC was on a GTX1050 laptop

when that one was at the end of it's life I got myself an RTX3060 pc
