Xenoblade 2 has signs that monolith got firetrucked by working on XC2 and BotW at the same time

the difference in quality between 2 and 3 is amazing

yes but TotK has a lot of reused stuff

a lot less work than creating something entirely new

playing XC3 after Endwalker made the entire thing feel so much worse

because they shared the same idea

and Endwalker did it so so much better

imagine having an avatar of despair but the game doesn't show you where it comes from. they just tell you about it

which makes it impossible to relate to it

the dlc was really good

even monolith knew how bad the main villain was which is why they wrote him out of the dlc at the beginning of the dlc

and you have to press "no" until the one you want to copy appears
