I believe Koji Fox got once asked in an interview about the fate of a certain character in FF14 and he said that the character isn't dead even though it was implied in a quest that the character died and the interviewer called it a retcon and Koji Fox just replied to him with "I don't call this a retcon. I'm quite liking Life is Strange True Colors so far. I'm not saying it's the best of the franchise but it's the one I'm having the most fun with because of the 'mystery' and/or the 'find the truth' theme which reminds me of Ace Attorney and I like that kind of thing I guess lol
