in the Squirrel Girl comics itself at one point Doreen clones herself but then her clone is a villain cause she cared too much for Squirrels and humans were mean to squirrels

I don't know much about Squirrel Girl except 2 things

1. She's ridiculously OP on purpose

2. I never met an LGB(specifically the)T+ specifically who didn't like or love her lol

hoonestly if you get the time and you want to start reading comics

Ryan North's Squirrel Girl comics are AMAZIN

they're also just the definition of hillarious
but also good stories

also her main superpower is sympathy imo cause the amount of villains that she has convinced to stop their villainouny purely by being sympathetic is.... uncanny

spoilers for like the first 5 or 6 comics

she literally beat Galactus by befriending him and telling him to eat a planet filled with nuts but no consious organisms cause it still has the life force that Galactus seeks without harming any consious being

It’s really just those 2 working together that makes comedy golf

Ive read other stuff written by Ryan North, and while still pretty funny, it doesn’t hit the peaks of Squirrel Girl

It’s also just very beginner friendly which is always a plus imo

You need to know a little about Marvel
Mainly that Iron Man exists
And you’re all good to go

But it’s also a good read for the fans as there’s some jokes that are funnier if you know Marvel better

Sounds fun tbh

It’s def up there on my list of recs for comic newcomers

And also for comic veterans

It’s just a really good read

And I mean. North is currently writing the Fantsic Four run. Which like isn’t something Marvel would just give away

Mostly all I do is read Batman trades. There's Marvel stuff I care about, and I'd like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable about DC but Batman is the bread and butter so that's what I stick too lol

DC is cool too

I mainly read Marvel cause Marvel has a subscription app available in the Netherlands whereas DC doesn’t
