And that's Tokyo Xanadu eX+ finally* completed. Is it a top tier or an amazing game? No of course not. But I still *really* enjoyed it honestly. The story in it is pretty great. I loved the 'mystery' aspect to it. I enjoyed this game *far* more than the Trails of Cold Steel games. The story in those games was very 'blah' IMO. I didn't have to constantly decrease to lower difficulties in this game either unlike the Cold Steel games. I played the whole thing on Normal. I don't know why I struggle with the Trails turn-based gameplay. I just do. I didn't struggle with Persona 5 but I do with the Trails games (so far). I wish I knew why myself. Gameplay is super fun. I guess I just really like action games. Though I thought this was obvious by now lol. It's boring at times and has *way* too much 'extra' content after the end of the game but I still enjoyed my time overall and thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope the teasing of a new game turns out to be true. I'll *definitely buy a sequel and I won't care about it having an english dub. That sort of thing just doesn't seem to bother me anymore I guess (thanks Digimon Cyber Sleuth games and english subbed anime I guess). Next up... I'm getting to the game that won my Most Anticipated Game (That I'll Actually Play). Pokemon Legends Arceus. If it's as good as everyone claims... it might be the favorite to win my personal GOTY. I judge things for myself though... so we'll see.
