Actual proper pacing. This isn't even a case of draggins some stufff here and there. The anime's pacing is insanely bad.

We are about to reach where the anime is overtaking in the amount of numbers there are then there are chapters

That shouldn't ever be a thing in an adaption like this

If we are talking about pure filler episodes that you can skip, then there are less than a 100 of them out of 1100+ episodes

Those 1100+ episodes have an insanely bad pace because of the schedule it has

Like here are examples of One Piece arcs in manga and anime for how long they are
Dressrosa - 102 chaptes - 118 episodes
Whole Cake Island - 78 chapters - 95 episodes
Wano - 149 chapters - 193 episodes

Even the shortest arc post timeskip in the manga is twice as long in anime from 6 chapters to 12 episodes

One Piece dearly needs a remake, and a Kai cut isn't enough when the animation isn't even good enough for what is happening

Well Otti maybe there's a different lesson to learn here.

Either don't simulcast anime adaptations of on going mangas

Take the Full Metal Alchemist 2005 approach.
