literally first thing I did on my US vacation was get a cherry coke
it tasted awfull

tasted neither like cherry, nor coke
and cherry coke is one of my fav sodas btw!

it just stated like a straight up sip of sweetened water

also side note:
I gained like... 5kg when visiting the US
