even the campy ones?

Oh dude those are some of the best ones! Lol

oh wait fr?

Godzilla socially has always had an uphill battle

People think Kaiju movies and think "ew cheap effects and schlock acting" but like sure it's not super serious like Godzilla OG, 84, 2014, and Shin Godzilla, but they're an important part of his history. And their fun!

Like dude give me Godzilla vs Ghidorah for the 90th time shit always rocks dude

I know there is like an extended universe of godzilla monsters(?) like mothra, have they always existed or was it something that was built ontop of the godzilla franchise over time?

Star Wars is a lot like Evangelion to me; i want other directors from other backgrounds to try their hands at doing it

Yeah some of them were their own thing, like i think Baragon was one, Mothra was, and... I think Rodan...?

The only Japanese Kaiju to really remain independent of Godzilla (that matters anyway) is Gamera

Excited for the James Mangold origin film the most.

That should be neat af

I hope so

I wanna be excited for SW again

is that skeleton crew or a different movie?

Just looked it up; it's a different one

gotcha, that's cool

so wait, are those like, established movies or properties or did they just show up in a godzilla movie one day?

Some of them had a movie before him

See iirc they're all owned by Toho

So it was easy to crossover

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that makes a lot of sense

Mothra had like 3 solo movies lol

oh damn

I had no idea lmao

Plus Godzilla has a total of..... ah shit what was it

It's like

I'm guessing like 15 movies

Almost 10 different continuities

excuse me huh

Yeah there was Showa, Hisei, Millennium, Shin, the Minus one, the 98 one, the Monsterverse, Godzilla Earth verse,

Minus one was like
