I will say imo I think LOU2 went a little too far in the direction of dark and bleak seriousness

Like that is that world and story but, it insistented upon itself- to the point it's just depression to play.

Like System Shock 2 is an oppressive atmosphere but still fun to play

Point of art is that you have fun part and depressing parts and so much more to it

LOU2 is good mechanics but fun to play? Not too much

How you dissect them and what mean

The game goes into how you see yourself as a person. The MC is a

giant narcissist who doesn't think he does anything wrong but causes problem for everyone that just ends up getting everyone killed.
