I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

wait why is

dina

even there

oh.
.....why?

Tommy is back at Jackson handling a horde of zombies

It's a fun segment, I like it

it did add to the shock vaIue I suppose

It did but it also adds to the factor of who these people are

The game doesn't reveal that until Ellie is on day two of Seattle

fair enough, though what I don't get is why

dina wouId be going anywhere with joeI at aII

did they try to Iike, have some kinda bonding moment orrr

Here on the other hand, they say it to you and

tells it to Joel who they are

In the game I really liked how

Joel didn't even know who these people are. He has done so much firetrucked up stuff that it could be anyone

They just give him the answer here

In the first episode, yeah

I think the idea was just to straighten it out and give her a better motivation to join Ellie

I don't really think one way is better than another, it's whatever

man I really don't think I like how they did it lol

I had issues with LOU2 did it's... well, everything, but at the very least the way

Joel went out

was on brand for the world and made sense for the story, not to mention how it played into his character.

This sounds like one of the only times the show feels bery

*very

Video Game Adapatation, TM.

Know what I mean?

They played it out very safe

tbh that and my other main issue here seems to be the pacing
I hate the scene aIready because it makes me so sad but you repIace the dumb reaIism with dramaticism it doesn't make it any better

It sounds almost too safe lol like to the point it feels conventional

They played Abby here to be more sympathethic

But I like how the game just doesn't give a firetruck

She's here for revenge, she gets it and she's gone

Iooks Iike they don't want that can of worms to open back up again Iike with the game

I completely understand why

There's merit in the way the game did it, and tbh, i almost wished they stuck to that

I still think they could have done a better job with it that didn't rely on it being an exposition dump

LOU2 is a morally complex game that I think folks weren't ready for.

This reddit comment nailed it completly for me

I still maintain it wasn't executed great but, they did present uniqur moral conflicts and demanded a lot from the player.

.......man

If my dad wasn't asleep rn
