Big ass marketing campaigns

Silksong had everything positive going on for them

Everyone (well idk if everyone) was hyped to play

Surely they saw the hype but still decided to release it the way it is

And they pushed it back too

Was supposed to come out last year.

If we take sony and Microsoft

guys I am so excited 😭

Sony idk if im wrong here but their first party output

This is just proving my point its not a dev issue, its an executive and money one

first snake introduced me to metal gear and now I can experience another classic I missed too 😭

Has been i wouldn’t call it “not too buggy” but they deliver gams at standard quality

If they have all the money they need like Silksong did then maybe they could have made it better

Microsoft a much richer company

Released their “biggest game yet”

Its all about shareholders and nothing more

playing devil's advocate here it depends. I know about a certain game dev who worked for blizzard that only worked there because he got into the company through connections and was a lazy fuck who had no interest in making games and was just bothering their colleagues

and no I am not talking about pirate software

even though there was allegedly similar problems

there's absolutely game devs that are lazy and have no passion for the industry

or games in general

I don't doubt that

That happens in any job really
