FFXVI costed pretty much 1/4 of an AAA game

it can't even be considered AAA at this point

iirc even e33 had a higher budget lol

e33 is 15-30m, xvi is 58m

The cost? The genre?

I feel like when a lot of people say "AAA game" they mean a game that's like or is Assassin's Creed. Big open world, light RPG mechanics, 3rd person, crafting, blah blah blah.
