You cant compare what larian is doing to what e33 did

E33 is evidence that people don't care about smaller use of AI. In fact they didn't even notice the AI generated assets

Atleast they patched out theirs

until someone pointed it out weeks later

I think we should look at this from a different angle; they didn't notice cause they don't know what to look for + the tech is getting harder to discern

Gamers being ok with ai and devs not telling us about ai/it being harder to tell are not the same things tho

Not informing your audience purchasing your products is a deceitful marketing practice- it borders on illegal

also you guys keep in mind that I try to see it from multiple povs. I think everyone that uses AI generated stuff in game dev is full of shit but I can see why game devs become much more comfortable using it.
