I have never understood this thought process tutoriaIs don’t turn off during Hard mode 😭
aIthough, I do not Iike 7R’s idea of hard mode we have now Iocked items out compIeteIy and restoring MP at safe points. Take that idiot
7R might be the onIy series I’ve seen where they onIy debuff you at Ieast in other games you gain 1 new edge to keep things interesting (and they don’t Iock out a part of your base commands for the whoIe game)
I wish more games had the level of difficulty that Destiny 2 Day One raiding has, shit can be either it can be difficult to it don’t give a fuck about you lol
Its even worse in Rebirth where you have a crafting mechanic that is now literally useless because you can't use items
FFXIV ultimate raiding. the boss is still alive even after 5 days. Kefka is completely destroying raiders rn

This one has a bit more info but this one is a bit weird
All FITS are unlocked from the start So you just get all four jobs immediately, that's so weird
Tells me how long this might be
but also I know they will draw it out in length
he explains why in the interview
Ohh thanks, I will look for it there
Normal Desert Perpetual for us had some long encounters day one, also was the most cheated raid ever since bosses health was near impossible. Longest I remember for that I participated was 14 or so hours on Verity and it wasn’t even a boss encounter lol
Its in japanese so had to use google translate
Mr. Hamaguchi:
All of them. I want to release it all at once now, not just little by little. His intention was that as he released them bit by bit, Cloud would always start out with warrior wear, and then around Ket Si there would be magician wear. It's said that it will happen. In the end, you end up balancing it out by saying, "This is how we're all going to change it anyway."

Instead, I want the users to decide for themselves, ``I want Cloud to fight in this role!'' - To that end, we release all the wearables at once in the early stages of the game. There are four types of wear in total, and these four types are unlocked for all characters at once, and you can dig deeper into the wear by combining them with the skill tree. "We let the users decide which clothing to use on which character." There was a strong vision of this, so it was a form that took over there.

──If you do that, the way you fight will vary from player to player.

Mr. Hamaguchi:
That's exactly the aim. There are a lot of combinations of characters, but it also changes depending on which character wears which clothing, so there are differences depending on the player.

In that sense, I probably should have mentioned this at the beginning, but the concept of this game is "determination." In the story, Cloud and his friends decide to take on the final battle while facing what they are burdened with. From our perspective as creators, this is the finale, so we are determined to bring it to a conclusion.

In the same way, we want users to choose their own gaming experience with determination. We want to let users choose for themselves, rather than the developer setting things up and guiding them as if they are making the choice. Considering the cost-effectiveness and cost, I had the feeling that ``this wear is a reward for defeating this boss...'' but I decided to shake it off.

──This is a system that will appeal to people who like job changes.

Mr. Hamaguchi:
That's right. Wear does not only increase parameters, but also increases actions and skills during battle, which can be further expanded through the skill tree. As a result, the range of battle strategies will continue to expand, so I think we have created a game that many people can enjoy.
Still sounds a bit bizarre but maybe it makes more sense when playing it
it just let us play how we want form the start
i guess you have tank healer mage physical and you can pick whoever you want for the roles
maybe you don't even need to use them
Yeah I get that part, but its also overloadng the beginning with so much stuff
considering the size of the game, i think "beginning" doesn't mean much
Like you have 6 characters here that will play a little different from the last two and then also two brand new characters to learn. You have a new skill tree to go through and then on top of that you have a job system for each character and they all get four of them immediately.
That's an insane amount of things to get your hands on to learn.
Like I am not saying this will turn out bad, I am just a bit confused on the thought process, which I will hopefully understand when the game is out
