A short summary of the LL:

Pets have HP like hunter pets in WoW.

Pets can take aggro.

Crucible of the Unbroken is a roguelike mode with no auto recovery for your pets between the battles. HP recovery is only possible on specific fields or through items. Each victory gives you spoils which you can use to upgrade your pets. You can also obtain duty exclusive items to heal or buff your pets. It pretty much comes with the upgrade elements and systems you know from other roguelikes.

Each pet has its own level. Getting to max level with a pet unlocks a special skin for it.

You can use crucible to level your pets and BST.

Pets and bosses have elemental weaknesses and substats so you might want to change your pets depending on the encounter. From the gameplay that was shown pet choice, elemental weaknesses and stats matter.

While BST has a combo system you want to switch to certain pets sometimes to tank a tankbuster or for burst. It seems like it really depends on the encounter.

3 Difficulty Modes with the hardest one having a seasonal ranking system with new rewards each season. (Editor's Note: I hope they change this to the series system we have in PvP instead)

After you complete Crucible you get currency which you can trade in to upgrade your BST gear or for other rewards. (they didn't say whether it's just gear like BLU has or multiple levels of upgrades)
